Ingredients
3 shots rum
1 teaspoon triple sec
1 teaspoon green crème de menthe
2 tablespoons lime juice
lemon or lime wedge
colored sugar
ice cubes

Utensils and Supplies
cocktail shaker
cocktail strainer
shot glasses
martini style glasses (for serving)

This drink recipe has six ingredients, triple sec, rum, green crème de menthe, lime juice, lemon or lime wedge and

colored sugar
.

Measure three shots of rum, one teaspoon of green crème de menthe, one teaspoon of triple sec and 2 tablespoons of
lime juice.  We used two ounce shot glasses, so this mix is enough for two to three servings.

Use a citrus wedge to wet the edge of the glasses.  Pour a 1/8 inch layer of colored sugar on to a plate.

Dip the wet edge of the glasses into the colored sugar.  View the colored sugar recipe

The result will be the colored sugar adheres to the rim of the glass.

Set glasses aside and mix the cocktail.  Fill cocktail shaker 2/3 full of ice.  Pour rum into cocktail shaker.

Add triple sec and green crème de menthe.

Add lime juice.

Place lid on shaker.  Shake mixture until the cocktail shaker becomes too cold to hold onto.

Remove cap and lid from shaker.  Use a strainer and pour mixture into sugar-rimmed cocktail glasses.

Serve immediately.
