     KQ Pink Pride Martini

Ingredients
2 shots gin
1 shot strawberry sour mash liqueur
1 splash lemon juice
1 strawberry (garnish)
ice cubes

Utensils and Supplies
Cobbler style cocktail shaker
Hawthorne style cocktail strainer
small mesh strainer
shot glass (for measuring)
martini style glasses (for serving)
cocktail picks (for garnish)

Fill the cocktail shaker half full with ice cubes.  Measure and pour in gin, strawberry sour mash liqueur and lemon juice.

Place lid on shaker securely.  Shake mixture vigorously until the cocktail shaker becomes very cold, about 8 to 10 seconds.

Remove cap and lid from shaker.  To avoid ice chips in the finished cocktails, employ a "double strain" technique.
Use a fine mesh strainer placed over the glasses in addition to the Hawthorne strainer placed on the Cobbler shaker.
Pour.  Garnish cocktails with a strawberry slice placed on a cocktail pick.  This mix will make one generous cocktail
or split the mix for two smaller sized drinks.  Serve the Pink Pride Martini immediately.
