Above: Prepared "puffed pastry" forms the crust for easy to make pizza.

Ingredients
1 package puff pastry (2 sheets of dough)

For the pepperoni pizza:
25 pieces of pre-sliced pepperoni
1/2 to 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese*
1/2 to 1 cup marinara sauce*
1 teaspoon ground oregano

For the sausage pizza:
1 pound ground hot breakfast sausage, well browned
1/4 to 1/2 cup pre-grated cheese, (four cheese blend)*
1/2 to 1 cup marinara sauce*

*Adjust the amount of toppings to your preferences.

Utensils and Supplies
baking sheets
cheese grater
pizza wheel cutter
spoon
skillet
wooden spatula
serving plates

Above: Purchase "puff pastry" from the grocery store.  There are two sheets in each box.  Use one for each pizza, pepperoni and sausage.  To begin, follow the package directions to bring the puff pastry sheets to room temperature.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Remove the pastry sheets from the packaging and place each one on a baking sheet.  Using a fork, poke several rows of holes all over the pastry sheets, rows spaced about 1/2 inch apart.  This will help prevent the pastry from puffing up too big while it is par-baked.  Bake the pastry for 15 minutes.  The pastry will puff up, but will settle back down once it is removed from the oven.  Allow pastry to cool slightly before adding toppings.

Above: Use a large spoon to spread the marinara sauce on both pieces of par-baked pastry.

Remove pizzas from oven when the cheese is melted and the pastry is golden brown.

Cut pizzas into sections with a pizza wheel.  Create eight triangles by cutting each direction across the middle and
from corner to corner.  Pizza can also be cut into squares or rectangles depending on your preferences.
