KQ Place Setting Ideas - Mixing Porcelain with Vintage Mid-Century Glass

Above: For this place setting we're mixing our favorite white square porcelain plates with our favorite vintage green glass
square plates.  This page also features alternative items used with the same white square plate to create different looks.

First we placed the black placemat on the table, topped with the large white porcelain square dinner plate.  We also added
a green napkin, folded into a rectangle at the left side of the place setting.

We added the flatware next.

For this green and white color scheme, we added a mid-century green glass square plate.

Next comes a smaller white porcelain square plate.

To complete the place setting
we added a small green glass square plate.  The top green glass plate would serve as
the "bread and butter" plate.  The seven inch white plate could be used to serve a small portion of pasta or salad.
The larger green plate would work well as a salad plate for a larger portion, or can serve as the dinner or entree plate.
The large white plate on the bottom of the stack can be your dinner plate or simply act as a "charger".

In this vignette we added a small green glass square bowl to the place setting.  This small bowl would work well for
serving fresh fruit or a palette cleansing sorbet.

Here we have started with the large white plate again and added a royal ruby red square glass plate.

Above: We added the small green glass plate.  This red and green color scheme would be great for winter holiday meals.

In this final vignette, we swapped out the small green square plate for a small royal ruby red square bowl.
